Sound familiar? Now I'm on a mission to show other women that it is possible to have peace around food and love the body you're in. Better yet, I can show you how to enjoy amazing health, live a happier life, and absolutely thrive as you accomplish all your goals with confidence.
For the longest time I believed that weight loss was the answer to all my problems. But decades of yo-yo dieting and restriction left me miserable, unhealthy, and exhausted. Now I teach women how harmful dieting can be and show them the way to true health and wellness.
If this is you, it's not your fault. As women, we are constantly being fed the unforgivable myth that thin is beautiful, thin is healthy, thin is ideal. We hear this from the media, our friends and family, and even our doctors. It's no wonder we do whatever we can to lose weight.
But the truth is, you don't need to lose weight to be beautiful and healthy.
As a physician specializing in both emergency and obesity medicine, with additional training in nutrition, eating psychology, and coaching, I can tell you with certainty that dieting is dangerous. Studies associate compromised health more with yo-yo dieting than higher body weight. Yet, everywhere you turn, shrinking your body is hailed as the solution. Women don't need to change. Attitudes do. So let's stop self-shaming, speak out against sizeism, and fiercely champion unconditional self-celebration!

Ready to unlearn old dieting patterns?
As your coach, I combine the best strategies from nutrition science, eating psychology, the science of habits, and life coaching. Together we eliminate all the diet rules and focus on what’s right for YOUR body and YOUR personal preferences. Instead of seeing challenges with food and weight as the enemy, they become opportunities for growth and self-improvement. And so I help my clients reach their highest goals not by strategies that punish, but through strategies that nourish the body and strengthen the mind.
I once heard a Swahili phrase while working in Tanzania: Wanawake wanaweza. This means "women can". And yes, women definitely can. So welcome to Wayza Health - where women can break free from self-criticism, judgment, and shame and move towards complete health, in both body and mind.
As the old adage goes, how we do one thing is how we do everything. It's very true that how we do food is often how we do life too. And if you've been struggling with food and body image, there's a good chance that other domains of your life are contributing - relationships, family, work, money, sexuality, stress. Coaching you through all of this is what leads to your true transformation - from the inside out.
With my Level 1 and Level 2 Precision Nutrition coaching certifications, I am skilled at coaching nutrition and dietary change, and habit change in general. Realizing that emotional eating and bingeing is complicated for most of us, I also did training in mind-body and intuitive eating. Peace around food is possible.
I am certified by the American Board of Obesity Medicine, which means I understand exactly what's happening in your body when you diet. Although I do NOT provide any medical advice inside my coaching programs, this knowledge gives me an edge over most coaches.
